The Mallow family (Malvaceae) in the boreal forest is represented primarily by the Linden tree, known for its heart-shaped leaves and fragrant, pale-yellow flowers. As a singular representative of Malvaceae in the boreal ecosystem, the Linden adds a unique touch to the forest with its distinctive features and sweet-scented blossoms.
